Connecting Flights, how do they work?

AOA people.

So I am booking a light back to Pakistan and I am getting this ticket which first goes to:

Dubai by Norwegian Air

then a layover of 11hrs

Lahore by PIA

Now, its written on the website that "Please note that you will need to collect and recheck your baggage between all flights. This is because you will be travelling with different airlines or on different routes with the same airline."
My questions is, will I need to get Dubai Visa for this? cause as far as I remember, you can't get to the check-in place until you don't have a visa.
Can anyone help with this?

Mostly airlines take care of baggage to the last place where you land.
In your case, just reconfirm where your baggage and boarding would be handed over
Some airlines provide you the connecting flight boarding pass when you check in the airline counter, this sort of consignee is called " Code share " , means airline is the main flier sharing their passenger as the don't have permission to use that route.

PIA is improving, just reconfirm with your travel agent and airline.

For dubai visa, Pakistani passport require one, only if you are going inside UAE

Thanks JShak, I am using momondo.co.uk to book the flight and I think there isn't any way to confirm that. Could it be possible to just ask this from the counter?

Ask the site customee support section ( if they have ). Mark an early special instructions if you feel like to notify them.
