Actually I'm bit confused cause when I press shutter button halfway the picture will focus or focus lock actually I didn't understand the exact meaning of 'focus lock' and recompose' help me please. Does focus lock means focus won't appear in the photo I mean will photo capture without focus? also I wanna ask the built-in flash in a camera shall I raised it with any button or it will raised automatically

u can read above source by mubaidr or u can check with this one

focus your subject with half press and switch your camera to MF from AF so camera doesnt focus everytime you press half shutter but be careful u dont change your position or your subject dont move

There r two ways to focus something a continuous focus ie camera tracks the moving object n keeps it in focus n other thing is focus lock, ie camera focuses an object n locks the focus at that point. 2nd method is idea for photographing stationary objects
U should read the manual of ur camera and read every bit about it cause to ask something u need to know some basics about ur camera n its various modes otherwise you will not understand any answers given to ur issues

As opethian said, there are two focus modes:

1.AF-C (Continuous Focus/moving object)
2.AF-S (Stationary object)

@Aika I do hope your not talking about "metering" which is different topic.
