I'm using mcb-lite card and have done a transaction through it this year in first quarter (most probably in Jan/Feb). I tried to do some online transaction last week, however it was not going through. After trying to get connected to the damn helpline, I finally got connected today and was told that my card has been deactivated since I have not used it for long. When I told them I did this year...and the rest you know the usual bs that the agents are told to repeat like a parrot...
The agent did record a complaint, however seeing from the history of mcb I have no hopes. It seems I have to apply again for the card for which I will be charged. Why should I pay for bank's mistake when they should have informed me before cancelling my card.
Is there any authority in Pakistan where I can complain about this?
