Call of duty Modern Warfare 2

Hi there...
I searched alot on internet but couldnt find any authentic post regarding this. I want to know that can we still play call of duty Modern Warfare 2 online? Are the servers still open or we cannot play now?

Im currently playing advanced warfare on xbox one, but im just hating the game. I really miss the gameplay of modernwarfare 2 and i really want to play it again.
Is it possible to play MW2 on Ps3?

yes....you can still play mw2 on ps3. the reason why COD games have a high resale value is because these servers dont shut down. well, not anytime soon.

AFAIK, MW2 servers for PS3 are OFFLINE. Someone else can confirm, but the last time I tried, couldn't find a lobby and it showed 0 people online.
MW3 servers are still up though.

I can confirm BO, BO2, MW3, AW & Ghosts servers for PS3 are up and running.

Not sure about COD 4 (MW) or COD 6 (MW2). I think both are Offline.
