I play on steam online. But I never seem to get a lower ping than 200. I have 1MBPS Qubee internet connection and my download speed never(I mean never) gets down than 120kbps. What's the matter?

I get 200+ ping aswell. Some of my friends in karachi (using ptcl 4mb) get 165-190 ping.

use dsl with line not wireless and definitely NOT a new internet company. PTCL is good for low pings.

i usually get around 130-150 ping on any servers but mostly european....wanted to know a server that u guys regularly play on so we could play together...

I got into online gaming when Socom 1 came out and have been hooked since. I have never gamed online here in Pakistan. I just bought CODBOPs authentic from US and needed some info. Will I have any issues playing online here PK? Do I have to do some sort of hack to be able to play online? I have PTCL 4Mb so I think I am good there. If there is something specific I have to do to play online then Id appreciate the info. And I have the for PC not Xbox or PS3.

U need to make steam account if don't have one already. Make an account, download steam and start your install from the DVD.
The ping varies here 160 to 250 since all servers are located far away. European servers mostly would give you better ping.

I havent played a FPS online on a PC before. So I install Steam and then install that game. I saw some Videos on youtube and the game play on the pc looks a little faster compared to that on PS3 and Xbox 360. Is that how it is? Really excited about it though. Also, do anyone of you know if the PS2 can be connected online to play multiplayer games from PK?

mw3 coming out this year, 3 companies working altogether.

sledgehammer and Raven on Multiplayer and some other company working on SP. Looks like Activision is now taking things more seriously with the threat from Respawn Entertainment....

how are PS3 players enjoying the game......?

Seems I'm late to the party lol.

Anyway I just finished Black Ops and it was a mighty fine game if not truly exceptional. Treyarch slightly deviated from the core presentation/storyline, which we experienced in the other CoD titles, but it proved to be quite well done in the end
But I still maintain MW, MW2 and WaW were superior games. Especially the SP campaigns of MW and MW2 were mindblowing to say the least

I dunno but the same old formula............... it seems okay but needs a major overhaul imo. The graphics are bad for a start.
