Playstation Buying PS3, need help with minor issues

I finally am getting a PS3 for myself and I just found a perfect deal which includes a PS3 Slim 320GB, PS Move, PS Eye Camera and a Starter Disc, here's the link:

Now the question is, will the games commonly found in market be compatible with this system or will I have issues finding right region games? the topic states "PAL: Will play on UK and European Playstation3 only" so does that mean I won't find games here, as I am a bit lazy on making purchases online, so a proper guide would be appreciated.

And incase I donot buy this, I will have to get a 120/160 GB one from the local market here, and get a Move seperately. But this deal is really saving a lot of money so please guide me...

there are threads to know basic FAQ's about ps3 u can search on forum easily, though 1 thing I must tell you there are region locks but only for BlueRay movies .. your ps3 games are all region free you can play any region you want.

a piece of suggestion if you are really intrested in making a good deal try contacting Amaga he's such a nice chap to tell you what you need to know and wont give you false advice.

As far as I know, the PS3 is not synonymous with region problems. You shouldn't worry too much about which games will work and which won't. Check the PlayStation Move FAQ thread for further details.

PS3 games are completely region free, they'll run on any PS3. Their downloadable content IS region locked; for example if you have a Region 2 game disc you would need to purchase the DLC from the European store for it to work.

All media is still region locked. I can't play PAL region DVDs on my NTSC PS3.

The price is definitely reasonable, I mean the 320GB PS3 Slims costs about 35000Rs and the Move with Eye Camera costs about 8500Rs, making it about 43-44k. But i am getting all for about 35k

Well since your brother is in UK you're buying it from there... I suggest you check out the US and Canada market.

I already did the research and realized that the prices in USA and Canada are the cheapest. The only issue is shipping... and just similar to your case I have a relative coming over from USA, so I'm waiting for mine.

the 160GB is for $299.99 and 320GB Move Bundle for $399.99

$1 = Rs.86 approx.
CA$1=Rs. 83 approx.
