bootable usb/ unable to detect now

I created a bootable usb using rufus, then to format it I followed these steps

First, type “diskpart” in Run box to start Command Prompt. Second, input following commands in turn and remember to press Enter after each move.

list disk

select disk X (X stands for the disk number of your bootable USB drive)

clean

create partition primary

format fs=fat32 quick or format fs=ntfs quick (select one file system based on your own needs)

exit

but still it was showing a dvd drive even after removing the usb, so i ejected it and ever since then my win 10 isnt detecting the usb anymore, please help.

Edit:

Strangely it is showing up on the laptop but not the pc though it does shows on cmd disk list showing its size and showing 0 as free but nothing on this pc

What exactly are you trying to do bro? Create a bootable USB? Then why not just flash the bootable image directly through Rufus? That's what its for, i think. And if you are converting a bootable USB back to a normal NTFS/FAT32 stick then just re-format it using Rufus and everything will be back to normal.
