Blue Screen Occur While Playing Games (Windows 7)

I have bluescreens all the time. Usually they occur a while into the game. Sometimes it is just the game crashing and sometimes it is the whole computer. When it does bluescreen, there is no text on the screen and a looping sound. Any help or troubleshooting steps?

Have you overclocked your processor or your vga card? Looks like an unstable overclock.

well,, firstly go to mobo setting and set it as default,, and then check it

the only reason you can BSOD is

1) bad overclock of RAM / CPU / GPU

2) Bad ram stick, i bought a dual channel 2GB kit back when i got the C2d new and one of the sticks kept causing BSOD seeing how you have 1 GB of ram i THINK it might be a problem with the ram stick try getting another ram stick and gaming

or

bad GPU drivers, BETA drivers of GPU's have known to cause issues i would say you update your GPU drivers to OFFICIAL version and try again otherwise if the drivers fail then its definitely your RAM

Run memtest86 for 6 hours straight and see if there's any issue. Prime95 also has a RAM intensive stress test but this is the best way.

like i said GET another ram stick = / .... JUST for testing not for keeps and 9/10 times RAM is responsible for BSOD AFTER oc failure
