Blastwave Changing People's Words

hi, i just want to ask this, isn't this kind of unethical? i've noticed blastwave has edited at least two of my posts without my consent. if you are uncomfortable with the content of a post, warn the poster or message them to edit it themselves. changing people's words to your own liking is a kind of orwellian control over posters that i'm rather uncomfortable with.

ps. this is meant to be a discussion, it's not a query to be answered.

you didn't edit out the words, you could have put asterisks to censor out the words, or changed it with "-blam!-" like usuf does. i don't have an issue with that.

you changed the entire context of my statement, you deleted two sentences because you didn't like them.

i called serious sam a shithead, that's because he is one and hasn't given me any opportunity to give him the benefit of doubt. that's just my opinion. if you are uncomfortable with the word "shit", replace it with "****". don't edit/delete/change things i say because when you string together words in something that is called a "sentence", it creates something called a "context" for the next sentence to follow.

isn't it unethical to people names?
i think he should've removed entire sentence/post and left with the message "edited for xyz reason"

even according to this completely arbitrary set of rules, you're in the err.

regardless, rules aren't set in stone. they are formed around a culture, not above it. i'm negotiating against your godlike meddling, i'm not arguing whether or not what i said is against the pg rulebook (as if that's any realistic measure for "proper" conduct anyway). stop being a drone/sheep/using the rulebook as a crutch. all i'm saying is that your meddling is unethical.

Haha..forget about blasty man... Once in a topic i wrote, we are all having a mature discussion here. He edited and removed the word "mature" from my post.
He just tries his best to tell everyone "keep calm and carry on".
Its just his job.
