Black screen problem in Windows

I am getting black screen upon windows startup because mistakenly i applied non supported resolution from display settings however i also tried to access the advance boot options by pressing f8 in order to boot into the safe mode but nothing happened it looks like windows 10 is pathetic operating system as compared to prior OSes

if you're getting out of range message on screen then Connect your pc with other monitor which have higher resolution and change resolution settings and you are good to go.
