Battery Draining issue - S5

So its been like a month now and I've been facing excessive battery draining issue like 1 percent battery being drained in 5 mins and 30 percent in no more than 2 hours which is absolutely terrifying. Please help.

I am using CM 12 custom rom.

Factory Reset your phone, clear memory and internal storage. Then let your battery drain to 1%, then charge it back from an original charger, the battery could re-calibrate it-self, let it reach to 100% without interrupting it. Then when you start-up the phone, disable or do not install the Facebook app. Use FB from the browser. The FB app is a battery hog and it doesn't show up complete use in stats, instead it distributes its usage within the Android system stat. Also disable any battery monitoring and saving software.
