Wow this is super exciting news, i have always been a huge fan of Audeze, and now this news. And that too at $259 Pre launch price is incredible, but i hope to see some reviews first before making any final purchase decision.

wow..... looks good
but its a closed back one and normally closed back dont produce very good sound stage but off course since they have put planar drivers in wireless than they must have done something about it too, that head tracking system might be the solution

Yeah I don't trust closed back planars myself. And then I also wonder how the battery life will work, especially since these Audeze & Hifiman planars are so power-hungry and I think the battery is gonna be too small for wireless... also, no passive mode; always active.

I posted this if anyone found it interesting. I always get skeptical the more I read about it. I'm good anyways though. Maybe other gamers would consider.
I think it just may be the BEST cans for gaming anyhow, still, for those who want some bling and some carefree routine (throwing them around, abusing them), young folks, who want wireless tech also, and very much for those who would wanna go VR with these...

For audiophiles though, these may not really be a consideration.

I read the FAQS at indiegogo, com and it stated 10 hours of battery life support, But i also noted a very interesting Question stated there was:

Q): If the battery runs out and I’m using the analog cable, will Mobius continue to work?

And): No, due to all the features we’ve included, Mobius must either run on battery power or be plugged into a USB port.

isn't this gonna be a bottleneck looking after charging prowess of these power hungry planar magnetic.
