ATM and Debit card same?

Anyone using Alhabib card, tell me if their ATM card is a debit card also. I want to know if I can make payment on store using this ATM card or I need a different Debit card for that.

I have the atm of of Al-habib and debit card of bank alfalah. I use bank alfalah at POS machines. The apparent difference b/w the two is of VISA. And i guess al habib card can only be used at atm as it has no VISA or Master support

atm and debit card are the same, if its the card that they gave u after opening a account at their place etc its same.. can be used at atm machines aswell as used to pay for shopping where ever a visa machine is available.

Thanks its a unionpay card, so it will be accepted anywhere like a visa card.

if it has visa logo it will be accepted anywhere

some banks warn against use of certain machines for card reading so be aware of that and chances of data skimming from your card
