regarding power supply , you can run cm500watt with 4890 but i don't suggest you 500watt cm power supply for this card.because the card consume about 200watt of power

^ if you want to buy a new power supply for card i suggest you to get a better brand because cm power supplies are not good if you are considering to buy a card like 4890
get antec or thermaltake power suppyl 500watt should be minimum.

actually i already have cm 460 watts + 4890, a friend of mine is going to sell his cm500 and i cant get it in exchange with 400,500rs difference. and galaxy is selling cm600 refurb in 3600. & im preferring cm coz of budget problem. my system = c2d , intel board , 2gb ram soon 4gb or might get ddr3 board. so what should i do now ?

All depend on PSU condition,
460/500 Extreme series CM PSUs can handle 4980 if they are new or used but in very good condition, if they already used for 2~3 years with a power GPU, then i do not recommend to use them with 4890

Hi shahxaib,
First, a CM 500W can easily handle a 4890, you should buy it with your eyes closed.
Second, it also depends on the rest of your rig, your cpu/ram/hdd etc. Also the aging of the caps in your PSU and how old it is.

Bottom line is, it will run fine.

just check ur Processor power consumption if 65 watt and if u have only i hdd and dvd drive , so u can run easily
