Assassins Creed: Brotherhood - Disc Unreadable

Hi guys,

So i was trying to play Assassins Creed: Brotherhood and i got a disc unreadable error. I have to use a Wave 4 activation disc when playing latest titles and most of them work, but this one didn't.

So i was wondering, does it require a new activation disc or is there something wrong with the game? I know it's not a region error, because it usually says incorrect region if it is. Thanks for the help.

........... Dude you need LT+ as a modification. If the guy is still using activation discs, he needs to update his dvd drive. There is no other way. However, if he has an old samsung/ hitachi drive, it should run technically.

I was reading up more about it, so apparently AC:B uses the new anti-piracy check, which is why it won't work. So getting the new firmware update will work then? Is it also needed for NFS:Hot pursuit?

Now im doing the update to LT+ for you. You wont need any activation disc after this

i have the old hitachi drive.it reads the game but when it is starting it gives the "disc unreadable" error.please help.

LT+ is a firmware hack that you'll need to have on your DVD drive in order to play Assassins Creed: BH (also games that come after it).

Regarding today's update, MS has implemented something with the update that enables a different kind of a security check on games like Halo: Reach, BO and MW2 that the current software hack can't by pass. The only thing left for us pirates is to wait for another software hack to release that can bypass this new security check.

My 360 with the LT+ and all detects and even installs Halo Reach but after starting the screen remains black.
I've heard I need patched games. I asked a guy for one and he did everything and told me that it won't work.
Any solutions?

off topic question is the new firmware released the so called update which does not allow any game to run --- reason for asking was that i wanted to flash lt+ but i dont want to re flash the drive again spend more money .

softmod is rendered useless by new games updates - brotherhood was runign fine but i played lego star wars iii and it updated and how i get disc read error .....

Thats because all the latest games come with the new dash update and this dash update enables a couple of extra security checks in the console. A simple way to bypass this is to flash your xbox to LT+ 1.1, everything should run fine then
