Here's a suggestion.

Pg team could create an appraisal section in the market place where people can get their items appraised before they sell them off.

I've seen it work wonders on overclock.net it could be great on Pg too

well, i like the idea to appraise the component that need to sell. sometimes people dont know about the worth of item they'll sell. so it will be a good official step.

anybody can appraise the component. certainly who have knowledge of items about there prices and worth will contribute. i guess market activity will remain in the market section. our community is healthy in evaluating any hardware especially when pc items.

Hardware Section can be used for appraisals or you could create a sub forum in the marketplace for appraisal. There are a few people on PG that are aware of the market and can suggest a reasonable price for an item.
