Well, I applied for Aus Visa through AUSPAK. I think you need atleast F.A or F.Sc or A levels to even apply for a foundation course. But I am not an Australian Visa counsellor so I wouldn't know. As for admission to a college, I suppose you could start by looking at their requirements. You need a minimum band 6.0 in IELTS if you want to apply for Bachelors or 5.5 if you want to apply for a foundation course and these are Embassy's requirements. Each university have their own IELTS requirements depending upon which course you are taking. I did the admission part myself. Its not that difficult. You can email university's admission department and they are usually very helpful and will guide you through the entire process. After that its the 'Getting Aussie Visa' part which can be a bit complicated but you don't have to worry about it if you have an agent working on your case. Australian visa is not that hard to get as long as you follow their rules precisely. One screw up and you are history. Most difficult part is the bank statement. Please note that it takes about 3-4 months for getting an Australian visa. So I would advise you to visit a counsellor ASAP. Good luck.

why to australia why not to europe (sweden, norway, finland) education is 100% tution free and in english.germany is not free now but tution fee is very low like 500 euros per semester.but norway, sweden and finland is 100% tution free and education is also in english.

I agree bahnstasse007, why don't you try for Europe instead? You'll have to learn a new language, but the education is free (except in England, I believe).

Or take the SATs and go to the US. Both options sound much more convenient than Australia. I'm afraid I can't be of much help on topic, since I never really cared for Australia, but I suppose I could help more if you were choosing any of the above two options since I'm looking into them myself currently. Oh well, good luck with whatever you choose~

no dont go to US or UK they are anti muslims and pakis...you saw what happened with paks students in UK...and in germany or norway, sweden or finland their is no such hatred about us or islam.mara i been in finland ,sweden and norway its zabardust.people are very friendly and in norway oslo is full of pakistanis man.i myself living in germany....and now listen to me very carefully..( after getting to norway, sweden or finland...find a women for you and marry her and convert your strudent vista in a perminant residence permit of that country and then....saree zindagee aaish karo mari tara.... :) :) :):) government will support you financially if you dont have a job.all bills will be paid by government but only if you have perminant residence of that country.....you can find women easily in norway, sweden or finland because male population is too low their...thats why the women their need man urgently...........beleive me i am not joking with you....F**k USA, UK and australia.

You should really sit down n work out your grounds first...

1) Your financial position (can your parents support you there or you will have to look for a job in some retail outlet, kfc, mcd n blah and will u be able to co-op with work and studies...trust me student life is tough there)

2) Time implications (getting visa and admission..all the time it will take what you will do during that time?)

3) Courses you want to get admission in and what universities (get information regarding their admission criteria, fee structure...you wouldn't want to get into any ghatya university there)

4) Your family committments (You dont want to look for a job there n quit studies cuz your dad got retired!)

5) Who you gona stay with there (You got family members there or dorm or your own apartment?)

These are basic things you need to work out first. There are alot more to think about then just this....

Are you serious? 2 years for a Visa? Won't they just deny your application rather than make you wait that long? I mean, won't you waste two good years just waiting... even if you do get into another University, you'd have to start all over again when you finally get the Visa. Blindly unfair. Goodness...
