Salam All,

I am actually planning to get this car. I know it comes in Automatic transmission and is 2 Door and ABS and no power windows.

I like it but got some questions

1) Where do u get spare parts for it? easily available?

2) Is the height low or it will hit underneath on every bump.

3) Mileage/Fuel ratio?

4) Any flaws and resale?

1) skullbox

2) With passengers it will hit (All JDM's hit so its not limited to Mira only).

3) Very good 18kmpl easily (Note: Has to be manual or CVT automatic transmission, 3fwd/4fwd auto transmission won't give good mileage.

4) Resale is decent enough but don't expect resale like suzuki teen dabba mehran/alto etc.

1. Yes, parts are easily available. I have the 2009 4 door version. When I got the car I spent around 6-7k for the fluids and filters. Air filter was 350Rs, LM Imported OIL 3.5k, Oil Filter genuine toyota corolla one(since that is OEM on this car) 350rs, PLUGS 3 @ 600 each Total 1800, Gear Oil ZIC approx 1500Rs for 3 litres. Rear diff oil (Since my car is 4WD version), Liqui Moly 750rs for 1 liter bottle. That is about it and I have so far run around 5k kms in 2.5 months including 1 trip to Lahore.

2. Well height is kinda low as like other JDMs too but if you get decent recommended tyre size you should not be hitting bumps. Mine right now has slightly lower profile tyres so its usually OK with single person riding, with around 3-4 it kinda hits a few bumps not every though.

3. Mine is currently doing between 18-20kmpl and 20kmpl on the motorway as well.

4. Well resale as I have seen is kinda slow since majority of the people prefer local suzuki cars or fresh imports.

I am very satisfied with this car in every aspect.

Thanks guys it was informative

Hitting the bumps seems issue... maybe something could be done to raise it..

And yes let me know what model should I ask for when buying? I didnt know about this 3fwd or 4fwd autotransmission... ?

Donno i m lost!!
i have considerable experience in 2007 model and its almost same as what skullbox just described but try to find one that has CVT transmission as its consumption is phenomenal plus it still gets a better resale compared to 4WD/2 door models.

I am getting a manual transmission 2 door Mira for 5.5 lacs. Its mileage is above 100k and untouched and its registered already. how is the deal?
Model and shape? And if the car is maintained then 100k is not issue for these cars. Majority of the imports in the markets these days (all cars) realistically are 100k driven, our dealers reverse the meter to lure more customers. Japanese 100k kms=20k Km PK mileage.

Yeah, mileage is not an issue on JDM cars. Just make sure do all the regular maintenance as soon as you get the car. That would include:

Air filter
Oil Filter
Engine Oil
Plugs
Fuel Filter?
Anything else skullbox

Guys, I am also thinking of getting a Mira but in automatic transmission. Is there a way to tell if the transmission is CVT or not? I am looking at the 2008 model and there are two. One which has the gear between the seats and one that has the gear in the dashboard. Could someone please make my life a little easier??

Normal 3 or 4FWD transmission go like P-R-N-D-2-L while CVT transmission is always (most of the times anyways) P-R-N-D-S-B.
