Salam,

I have a little question for PG members who (or their relatives) have visited US before and if they were required to wait for the (approximate 45 days) Administrative Processing. I had my interview on 23 July, it was a pleasant experience (maybe because I have a 60% scholarship from university) Visa officer was a very friendly guy who was rejecting all (that I could see) others (yes I could hear the three counters) an I was told that my Visa has been approved but the application need to go through Administrative Processing which can take 2 weeks to infinite time.

Now my classes start on 7th of September and I am confused if I'll be able to get the Visa stamped by then (College has suggested to come on 15-Aug on I-20 but 'they have said that you must come before 7-sept). Otherwise I'll have to defer my admission in summer semester.

Please answer! and please mention how long it took to get your Visa stamped.

bro can you tell me how did you avail 60% scholarship
There is always a scholarship section in university admission section, Prestigious universities always give good amount of scholarship since they have a lot of official or non official support sources. if you have good scores in your studies, SAT, GRE and Toefl (even if u dont) u can apply for a scholarship. If approved you are notified.

chilllax bro,its just been 3 days, and you have till september 7 which is at least 45 days away..from what i have heard, it took few ppl around 20 days or so to get their's back from administrative processing (F1 pakistan)..you cant enter US before 7th august anyways(legal requirement) and the university is asking you to come around 15 so you can attend orientation and such, all of which is important but not as important as you getting their before 7th september..so as long as you get your visa and make it to states before september 7th, everything outta be fine

Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
