Dear all,

We have now added Antec to the growing list of officially available companies in Pakistan. Do check out the casings and PSUs (available with local warranties and great prices). Will not post link but I think most people will know where to look for them. If you don't, please inbox me and I will let you know.

Antec Achieves lowest failure rate

Thats good news, have used their vp 450 psu for 2 years now, very reliable power supplies. (y)

Additionally I wish somebody would bring in Evga and seasonic psu's as well, they are great psu's for longer lasting builds.

I think now, when the brands are starting pitching in, that time is not too far, when we see evga, silverstone, and seasonic brand psu here, too.

Pakdukaan is progressing well, not only in servicing but introducing quality brands in Pakistan.

Such a great news. Seasonic and Sun Flower for life though, they are built like tanks.

Here is the link where you can see which Antec PSUs are from Seasonic:
https://img.purch.com/o/aHR0cDovL21...vbS9VLzEvMzYxMzY5L29yaWdpbmFsL3BzdS1hLWIucG5n

Always prefer these:
1) Seasonic or Sunflower (both are equally awesome)
2) FSP
3) None

You can go for low wattage rated PSUs anytime as per your need but never compromise on quality, Antec's NeoPower and TruePower are one of the best.
Thanks for the information. Yes, Seasonic and Sunflower are, undoubtedly, the quality manufacturers.

My pleasure DSM1 bro kindly refer to the mentioned sheet and opt for the models that are designed by Seasonic, and there is no point in bringing >650W PSUs, just bring a few, not more. But please bring quality PSUs as it will be a win win for customers as well as for you because of less claims and failures.

okay layman question here:
I have Corsair CS650M & I think its quite good. What advantages can switching to Antec ones bring, if I were to switch?

If you already have a working PSU then there's no point in changing it unless you are upgrading your hardware and will require more power. So I would not recommend changing PSU right now. However in the future if you are going for a new build then do get ANTEC :D

That list is quite old rafay22 as some of the models on their have been discontinued. We initially wanted to get seasonic but their prices were way too high, especially for entry level models and would not have been able to compete in the local market. That's why we have gotten ANTEC which is a good alternative and should perform well in this market.

That is right. Antec is also solid, have you tried EVGA, they have exceptional psu's at very competitive prices.

Nothing noticeable. Your unit doesn't have a good wattage replication as compare to Antec, let's say Edge series, which I see a solid product.
The OEM for CS650M is 'GreatWall' (not well-known for quality PSUs) and semi-modular, while the Antec's Edge series is Seasonic manufactured and Fully modular.

At this time, other than fully modular setup & looks, I don;t see any real benefit.
