No it's not an opinion driven post and I intact needed some suggestions.
I recently started building a PC and have almost all components other than mobo and a processor.
I had in mind ryzen 5600x and an Rog 550 board in mind initially. I had been out of PC gaming for quite sometime. After reviewing I noticed that AMD is the new market leader and components aren't available all the time.
The theme I selected was white. Now I found everything in white including case, gpu, rams etc but couldn't find myself a white mobo in the architecture I mentioned. On the other hand, Intel boards are more available readily.
That's why thought to ask you guys if ryzen is really worth the wait and search. Alternatively, I can go for Intel provided that there has been some substantial improvement in the performance of their products. Mainly in the 11th gen.
