true. I think its availability will also be hampered due to miners. Also remember these things work on volumes. If enough sell, prices might come down a bit.

I think, it's not a good time for VEGA, as already prices are extra high. GTX 1080, on the other hand, is ar better in price/performance, at the moment. The recede in price will favoring NVIDIA.
VEGA 56 as being the competitor of 1070, also not attracting the consumers.

Custom variants will out mid-end of October. Then we would see some difference, but I am still not sure about prices.

Agreed & local price aside, the VEGA can't even beat Nvidia in international market with price point of view.

GTX 1080 prices have reduced ever since. That is why we are seeing lower even in PKR. VEGA is released after like a year of Pascal and while it was being hoped to do away Pascal, it could not with greater success. Prices in the Int'l market are high which would definitely see the local prices to be high. Besides miners, this is AMD own wrong doing as we habe seen the drama with retail pricing without profit margin to the seller. How would they earn their breads by selling something that is not giving them even a dime. Unless AMD sort it out this thing is not gonna change. Plus that forced bundle package from AMD is not doing them good either.

Vega 56 if given the right price which AMD mentioned at first is a potential candidate in upper segment of budget cards. It could have troubled the Nvidia with 1070 and even 1060 sale but AMD failed to capitalize on it.

AMD being AMD! Typical!

read some where that Gigabyte will not introduce any custom card of VEGA
And now rumors are that they will. Lol. Don't know what is it with these companies. Custom variants are likely to be pricey than the reference hence Gigabyte earlier decision makes sense in the light of pricing drama from AMD and their distribution channels. But, Gigabyte can't ignore the comoetition. Dilemma.

i think Nvidia will release 1070Ti version to counter the threat of Vega in budget or mid tear market segment!

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
