Hi guys,
I have an Alfa 1000VA UPS up for sale. I have used it for about a 18 months, but got brand new batteries for it only 9 months back. It's a wonderful and very reliable UPS. Currently supporting my C2D rig with two HIS 4850's in crossfire and 650W corsair supply.

i dont know. i havent checked. i'm in the LUMS hostels, so usually the electricity doesnt go here for more than 5 mins before the generator turns on. will probably easily give about 10-15 mins with my crossfire setup and 22" monitor.

yeah i am interested how many watts is it?

i have a rig that runs on 750W with q6600 3HHDs n 4850x2 n a 22 inch HD LCD will it be able to power it up?


any warranty left on his thing?

yeah it'll support your system. will drain out very quickly though if your system is on full load.

sorry to put the same questions again any warranty... i m sure the answer is no, but still n whts the wattage... must b on the box or something

Nope. No warranty. The UPS is 65% efficient, so i'm guessing around 650W's. Doesn't say wattage on the box.

Watts = Power factor x KVa

Generally, power factor for desktop pc's is around 0.90. so 1000va = 1000x0.90 = 900W.
