[SOLVED] [ADVICE] IPAD AIR vs Rest of the Tablets

Hi.

I am in a quandary. I want to desperately buy a tablet and I have had my eye on Ipad Air for some time. But, I would usually use the tablet for stuff such as web surfing, email, ebook reading, and yes movies and tv series (a lot of this actually). I was all for Ipad Air until I learnt that I can not download movies and tv shows directly on it. I need to have a laptop through which I will have to transfer these files. My aim in getting a tablet was to limit my laptop use and eventually cut it out.

So, what should I do? Should I go for Ipad Air and keep the laptop on side or should I go for some other tablet that will enable me to download items directly?

IMHO Samsung Galaxy Tab S is currently the best tablet available. It is android based so you can download movies and tv series directly,you can even download torrents on it.

Galaxy note 10.1 2014 is one of the best ones available, after spending some time with my brother's xperia tablet z2, I think it's also a great choice if u don't like the iPad air

My only problem with Ipad Air is that I won't be able to download movies and tv shows on it, which for me are very important. Other than that, I have no issue.
I am torn between Ipad Air and Galaxy S 10.5

i have heard that You can download torrents on a jailbroken ipad air via iTransmission 4 app from cydia , but downloading stuff and watching it is easier on android tablets like galaxy tab s 10.5 and others so u should go for galaxy tab S

Why dont you consider windows tablet like lenovo miix2 10" comes with windows 8.1 full version not rt also there is a keyboard dock included so it can be used as a laptop as well
