Accountants/ bankers Help needed

I have a question for accountants and banker on pakgamers

A friend of mine had to make a payment in Dubai and he did not have an account there.
A guy (dealer )!helped him make a payorder through his account.
Now the payorder was not encahed as his deal did not go through.
He has the original payorder in hand.
How to get his money back if the guy from whose account payorder is made from is not cooperating?

In six months will the money go back to that guys account or not?
Will the account holder have to deposit the not used payorder before he gets the money back or else it goes back automatically?
What can my friend do as he has the original payorder and its counterslip but the account owner is not answering calls.

Any info and help will be appriciated

The only option is to ask the guy from whom you requested to make a payorder to co-operate and get it cancelled. After 06 months it become stale and need to be re validate again by the Account Holder.

if the guy does not return the payorder( because my friend has it) will the money go back to his account or the bank gets it?

It will remain with the Bank for 10 Years then after deposited in State Bank as unclaimed funds and can be retrieved upon completion of formalities by the beneficiary (With Original Instrument) or the Account Holder.
