So, just built a pc for a friend. Until the Evo was delivered was using stock intel cooler (4th gen one). Got Temps of 82-86 on witcher 3 playing 20 minutes. Not good. After that I didn't game on it waited for the cooler.
Got the cooler and then replaced it. At first, I used the cooler master thermal compound that came with it and got around 80 again.
I tried again with a chinese thermal compound available for 30rs... After which the Temps went max at 72° for playing 45 minutes. The Temps seem high :/
I'm running at normal 4ghz, No overclocking. The board is a z170a gaming m5. Running the Evo with push only config.
Anyone who is using a similar setup can you relate to it? Or tell me your Temps.
Is it just me or karachi is really hot these days?
ANOTHER PROBLEM with the windows was that after going to sleep there was no way reviving it up. Had to do a force shutdown using the power button. Anyway around that?
