30"inch lcd for ps3/ps4 gaming

So i need answers. Would a 30 inch lcd be good for gaming on ps3 /ps4. Ultra hd specifically. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think ps4 supports 4k HD, only native 1080p so no point in going for 4k yet. Just get a led tv in about 50-70k, 1080p and connect with your ps3 and ps4 HDMI.

so it will be future proof for him

Buying 4k res lcd at this time is total waste, there's no support for 4k yet and these LCDs cost alot.

I think OP just asked for full hd i.e 1080p, isnt it?

You're right, 30 inch monitors have an aspect ratio of 16:10. With the PS3 and PS4, you'll end up with black bars and the top and bottom of the screen (of the monitor supports a 1:1 mode) or the monitor will stretch the picture across the screen and you'll lose some of the image from the corners due to overscan.

There are two possible solutions:

1. Get a 27-inch monitor. In that regard, I would recommend either of the Samsung S27B750V, the HP 27XI, the LG 27EA63V, and the Asus VS278Q.

2. If screen size is important, get a 1080p 32-inch TV. It'll cost more than a 30-inch monitor, but since it natively supports a 16:9 aspect ratio, you won't encounter black bars or overscan. Both Sony and Samsung offer a lineup of 32-inch TVs that have great picture quality and features.

get a samsung 32inch LED tv .. in khi you can get one with warranty for around 42-43k new and 35k without warranty new ... forget 30inch ... aspect ratio issues ...

Im low on budget, I've got 20-25k max so please suggest me a monitor only as im going to change my monitor. I want the best monitor in that price range that give me best experience for my ps3. I can buy used too

^in the range of 20-22k you should get dell 2440L ... 24inch monitor which will be best ... 27 inch will go over you budget(nearly 30k) ... so get this LED ..im using its old variant 2420L from a long time now and a friend got a 2440L on my recommendation and he is happy with it
