Ati uses DDR5 with low memory bandwidth

and if ur on budget then stick to E5200 no problem
and 2GB ram iz enuff for gaming on Windows XP
DDR3 Rams have higher frequency but u need a processor to take advantage of it
a Core i7 with DDR3 memory vs a Core2Quad Q9650 with DDR2 Memory
although both processors have similar performance but Corei7 will have advantage bcoz of faster DDR3 Rams and the ability to utilize it
as for VGA Cards DDR3 iz the way to go
the memory of VGA Card iz only for the card itself not for the entire system and DDR2 ones just plain suck
i wuld suggest u get GTS250 for a 19inch LCD 1440X900
or GTX260 for 22inch LCD 1920X1080
for GTA4 ur E5200 needs to be overclocked
all other games will run smoothly
one more thing get E6300 2.8Ghz instead of E5200 though
run DDR3 Rams man and any processor u want its not big deal
u bought the motherboard just use it
there iz no Disadvantage as far as overclocking iz concerned
only DDR3 Ram iz expensive
i mentioned the disadvantages
and it wont limit ur Overclocking
u need to understand how Rams work
its speed iz determined by 2 things Frequency and Latency
Basic DDR3 Rams available here has Frequency 1333MHz
XMS2 DDR2 from Corsair has Frequency 800MHz
theoretically tht DDR3 shuld be faster but it iznt
because it has very loose Latency compared to DDR2
Latency iz the time take for data for read/write on the ram
simply its writen as CL4 CL5 or CL6
for DDR2 800 Rams all these 3 Latency are possible
DDR2 800 Value Rams have CL6 timings
Performance ones have CL5 and CL4
now when u increase the Frequency e.g 800 to 1066
u cannot get CL4 timings on it only CL5 and above
the DDR3 Rams for Rs7600 has CL9 timings
it has high frequency but high latency since lower latency means faster Ram
now for same Price u can get
DDR3 1333 CL9
DDR2 1066 CL5
the difference in frequency iz not much BUT the difference of Latency iz huge and DDR2 iz a LOT faster than DDR3 here
yar there iz no disadvantage man
DDR3 Ram iz EXPENSIVE and slower than DDR2 800 Rams
4 GB DDR3 Ram iz for 7600 Rs
4 GB DDR2 Ram iz for 4600 Rs and faster
