  • Yeah, the visa process is kind of a hassle, they take longer than they're supposed to. Likelihood of finding a part time job depends on your area, to be honest. You aren't allowed to work more than 20 hours a week on a student visa. However, many places here take advantage of illegal work by paying very low wages i.e 5RM/Hour and hire international students who work longer hours to earn more. So really, it depends.
Honestly, the only reason I'm doing a job is to keep busy with something. I don't plan on working once my main semester kicks in, I'm able to work now because I only have one course in the summer semester and a lot of free time. Working as a waiter :)

Malaysia is a really beautiful place. There is, however, a language barrier here. Working class people can't speak English too well so it's tough getting around but most others can speak an acceptable level. Where are you planning on staying in Malaysia and for what reason?
I have class at around 5, I work from 8am-4pm and then go to class, go to gym then back home. I'm only doing a job because the courses I'm currently doing at university, I have already done during my Alevels so I don't really have to study. :)
    Oh acha.

I thought he was Hamza and you ...

    Haha.

Khair. You guys have any plans of coming on the meetup?
