    I don't think it'll last that long. Right now the DVD drive is the problem. Its on the verge of being fucked. That is why i didn't fix my console before, because the DVD drive gave out....

    But now i opened the drive up, lubricated the lens' railing, and heat gunned the GPU to fix the console. And to my surprise, lubricating the railing worked :D Its reading now, but its noticeably slow....hell slow....

    Fixing the console from RROD is not a problem, i can do that anytime. Its the fear of the DVD drive that may give out any day is what i am concerned about....

    lol, well my intentions are real. Though i am pretty sure i won't have a console by then, i'll probably have Raptoria or Conscript take care of the online sessions. I created the thread mainly to see what game(s) our members will prefer....

    I have already talked to Raptoria waisay...And about the time, yeah i guess we'll be starting somewhere in June since a few people here are having their O Levels.....

    Hey....yeah, this issue does pop up for some movies that are encoded with over 3 reference frames....the X360 only allows 3, unfortunately....in such a case, there's no real solution as of yet....well, there is, but it's wayyyy too complicated and slow....it requires you too completely re-encode it to the WMV format

    Its not like you'll have to delete your old one...Keep the old one for offline play while the other one for online....Simple....

    dude, RROD is a small word...I can guarentee with confidence that NO ONE (at least on PG) has had a worse ride on his console than me....

    No kidding, i have repaired the thing and made it work AT LEAST 50 times...I really am not joking on this one, its seems pretty ridiculous but it isn't :p

    I have recieved 0020, E74, E73, E68, E71,0102 and what not.....

    and yeah, the bosses on especially the first disc will be pretty frustrating since you have an unimpressive party with meager skills, remember that for most of the first disc, Fire magic will be your strongest asset.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
