you will also have to install console launcher or audio control panel in windows Xp to see whether you have DTS/DD decoder, well if you have a DVD movie in which DTS/DD is used, then you can actually test it, simple install power dvd then run the dvd, select SPDIF from audio option and if you are listening the sound you have decoder dude!
lol bro i donot need to tell a lie regarding DTS/Dolby decoding in winXp, i have them, did u uninstall every creative software from your pc before installing these? i advice you to install drivers+all application softwares from creative, not a single one from here and there(like audio panel from auzentech ) and let me know

lets compare sound blaster elite pro and sound blaster titanium champion series bec they both have xram + I/O panel, now which one is better in ur openion? and definately op-amp and other components work together with chip ( i am an electronics negineer though :d), but as far as my knowledge is concerned creative cards are distinguised by the chip, may be they have same op-amps in all x-fi cards.
well titanium Hd ki baat nahe ker raha :d, simple titanium he kaafi hai, and PCI x1 is fater than PCI. and what is elite pro? an x-fi xtreme music+xram and I/O panel, chip wohi hai sub wohi hai baaqi. Titanium series main chip bhi improved hai. Elite pro lainay se behtar hai ke banda titanium fatality champion series le lay
i have already X-Fi xtreme music retail version with origional Demo X-fi Cd and Xp driver CD :d. Elite pro is an old card. Titanium series is latest and has pci-xpress x1 connectivity instead of conventional PCI

i jst wana let u knw one fact abt it ..... sometimes when i power my pc on the mouse's lights etc are on bt cursor aint moves so i hav to take out the usb connector n plug bak in n it works jst fine. I talked to ppl abt this problem they say its sumthng to do with my mobo's bios nuthng else cz if there was sumthng wrng with mouse then it vud gve other errors.
Else as described all is fine n hav everythng that came with it
