sorry dont have skype since im using windows 8 currently and dunno why but skype makes my windows crash...if u have that super user thingy then i guess your mobile is rooted..u cant install xrecovery/cwm recovery through astro..u need to install root explorer..find it on mobilism.org...install it copy the files somewhere on your memory card and then access the root folder using root explorer..i dont exactly remember where to paste the files in the root folder but the tutorial should tell you that
well officially you cant since SE never released froyo or gingerbread for X8...u will have to root your phone and install a custom OS/Rom downloaded from xda developers site...go the sites forums and u can easily find a tutorial there on how to root and install CWM Recovery...once thats done then the job is easy...if u still need help do ask me
