  • Not yet. I started using the internet a bit because my hardest exams are over. Only the MCQ ones are left.
I also finished watching Dragon Zakura. I will write my thoughts on it tomorrow.
    I.Saw.the.Devil.2010.PROPER.BDRip.XviD-EXViD (download torrent) - TPB
    I Saw The Devil [2010] BDRip 720p [Eng Rus]-Junoon (download torrent) - TPB[2010]_BDRip_720p_[Eng_Rus]-Junoon
    I Saw The Devil [2010]-Uncut-480p-BRrip-x264-StyLishSaLH (download torrent) - TPB[2010]-Uncut-480p-BRrip-x264-StyLishSaLH
Choose whichever you want. Still, try to go for 720p because movies are gorgeous and this movie deserves 720p. Btw, this movie is has a very R-rated story and there are scenes like that so you will want to avoid watching it around someone.
And these links and the previous link which I shared are public torrents. Downloading won't make a difference to your ratio anywhere.

    This coming Wednesday, 8th May.
Sure, I will let you know if I have any more word suggestions.
You're right. No matter what language it is, we would mess up pronouncing words if we are not fluent in it.

Let me know if you want a release of smaller size. Torrents are better than direct download links. Trust me.

I am noting the names and will get to them when I get time.
"Yup, i had shrewd idea you'd like it. And you did."
I would like to suggest a better alternative word here. "Hunch" or "intuition". They are nice words to pick up.

Everything is on yt now since videos take a lot of bandwidth and most companies can't pay for it. However google can since it's a huuuuge company.

"This must be the reason why i've always experianced chinese as if it's in a fast farwarded mode"
Exactly. Chinese words are harder to pronounce because of the accent marks on top as well which means that they have a unique pronunciation to them. Korean words are just weird. Too weird. I find italian and spanish words easy to pronounce compared to Korean.

"Even chris gayle wouldn't know how to sing but dance."
They probably lip-synced the song. Gangnam style is too famous now.

Anyway, you should go watch "I Saw the Devil" right now.
Lyrics from Gangnam style the really, really popular Korean song:
    Najeneun ttasaroun inganjeogin yeoja
Keopi hanjanui yeoyureul aneun pumgyeok inneun yeoja
    Bami omyeon simjangi tteugeowojineun yeoja
    Geureon banjeon inneun yeoja

What is that? I can't read it.
Romanized Korean: Wonhasineun seon saekkkalgwa gulkgie chekeuhasimyeon doemnida. Hangugeun ne gyejeori tturyeothada.
Romanized Chinese: àilìsī kàozhe jiějie zuòzài Hé'ànbiān hěnjiǔ le, yóuyú méiyǒu shénme shìqing kě zuò, tā kāishǐ. (text from a novel)
Romanized Japanese: Hiroi uchuu no kazu aru hitotsu. Aoi chikyuu no hiroi sekai de. Chiisana koi no omoi wa todoku . Chiisana shima no anata no mo. (lyrics from a song)

Try reading all three. Which one do you find easiest? Me, I find Japanese to read easier than Chinese and Korean. No way I can read Chinese and Korean. Japanese words are easy to pronounce, read, say and you don't need to speak at lightspeed.

I'll get to Kimi ni Todoke's movie later on then.
    Have fun waiting! :p
I watched around 40+ minutes of Dragon Zakura's episode 1,2 and 3. Really liked it. Will watch it when exams end. Thank you for the recommendation and Hiroshi Abe is the highlight of the show. Love him!

No, those two videos are songs by the actresses, try to watch them on YT. Install adblock plus for firefox or chrome and then install hotspotshield. Then you can browse YT without any problem.
Noted. The cast consists of people I've never seen before. let's see how rich man, poor woman turns out.

Sure are. I find Japanese language to be more beautiful. Chinese and Korean have very short words and the people speak so quickly it feels strange. While the japanese speak slowly and clearly enough that you can understand it. Remember people make fun of korean and chinese a lot more than Japanese e.g. saying "chin chong chan chong" and so on. On the internet and in real life alike. But every language is beautiful, it's only a matter of preference and interest.
Oh my goddd, sheeet! Both Aragaki Yui and Nagasawa Masami are in Dragon Zakura along with Hiroshi Abe! OMG, OMG! I am so watching after my exams finish.
Aragaki Yui - Chiisana Koi no Uta - YouTube
Nagasawa Masami -- - in case you were curious, these two videos are why I am so excited to watch DZ now.

Go for Asian movies. It's good idea because movies are very short compared to tv series and you can't ever go wrong with Asian cinema. Korean movies, they're simply amazing. Haven't watched many Japanese or chinese etc movies to comment.
If you like action then you will absolutely love The Raid: Redemption to death. A friend recommended it to me and I got around to it very late. Regretted doing that because the movie is too good from an action point of view.
Haha, yes. Maeda is kind of a keep-it-under-the-wraps and don't-attention-seek guy, so he's probably working at a lot of things at one time and people don't know until the producer or publisher announce it.

"But sometimes, it's just hard to watch through the episodes and i usually drop the show before it can get to interesting turns."
That is a bad habit. :p

I can understand not liking Train man. The lead is a "nice guy" and severely lacks confidence among other things.
Nope, first time hearing about Dragon Zakura. I mainly watched movies these past two years since they are short and unlike for tv shows I don't have to wait for the next episode or season to come out. My last jdrama was The Man Who Cannot Marry.
Try these, maybe you'll like them. But first, watch Kekkon Dekinai Otoko (The Man Who Can't Get Married). Easily one of the best Jdrama. The main actor in it is Hiroshi Abe. He is absolutely amazing. Pretty much the best actor from Japan as I see it. You will absolutely love him.

He's doing an Angel Beats game or perhaps a visual novel. We don't know much about it since little has been revealed. Then there's this
New Non-Game Angel Beats! Project Announced - News - Anime News Network
    and this
Writer: Jun Maeda Might Work on New Key Title - News - Anime News Network
He's going to be very busy in 2013 and 2014.

Ah, yes. Many tv shows have a slow start. It's all part of the buildup. I try to keep watching because much of the stuff that I watch is top-rated and gets good later on.

Very few anime like DN and CG out there. Nowadays it's all moe, kawaii, love-love and shounen anime. Admittedly it takes a lot of brains to pull of something like DN and CG, which is why anime like that are so rare.
    Welcome.
No, my avatar is Jun Maeda the creator and writer of Clannad, Air, Kanon, Little Busters and Angel Beats! You'll know who he is now since you have watched Angel Beats! I love this guy too much. He has also composed a lot of songs and soundtracks for all these titles as well. So he's pretty much one of the few all-rounders in the industry.

I watch Korean movies. So far I haven't watched any korean dramas. Korean movies are very good. Start downloading these, you will love them:
    I Saw the Devil
    Memories of Murder
... and I forgot the names of other Korean movies I have watched. I saw the devil is one of the best movie detective thriller I have seen.

Agreed. The most fun about DN and CG is seeing the battle of wits of the protagonists' and how they try to grab hold of the situation to their advantage, defeating people with tactics and strategy. That is simply amazing. I always go "Wow, you're such a genius!" at those points.
Or you could watch Death note or Code Geass again if you want to experience the masterpieces again. I can't ever get tired of watching Code Geass again and again, same goes for Death note but I dislike the plot twists that the author uses for the convenience of plot so I can't bring myself to rewatch Death note. But I can certainly watch the first 15 or so episodes because those are only Light owning everyone around me. The plot takes a nosedive in quality after L's arc's conclusion. Near and Mellow were horrible additions.
I wouldn't drop anime if I were you and neither Jdramas. http://i.imgur.com/krC6ecB.jpg - here is the list what most of the best anime from the last decade. I can vouch for this list since I have watched 27 anime from the list and they were nothing but phenomenal. Try any of these anime; watch two or three episodes, if you don't like it then drop it. But you won't drop them because they are really good.
From dramas look around for top-rated ones. I have read a lot of praise for Hana Yori Dango, Nobuta wa Produce, Gokusen and I have watched GTO and it was amazing. Though I liked the anime version of GTO more since it had a lot of slapstick (physical) humor.
    Top 100 Voted Dramas :: jdorama.com

If you want to know, I will be watching Moteki and My Boss, My Hero next because I liked the plot synopsis and they are really funny. Didn't download them yet due to exams.
A friend of mine had an account on asiatorrents, I asked him for an invite and he gave me one so I'm good.
I will probably watch "Densha Otoko (Train man)" next. The plot seems funny and it's based on real life events so I am all the more excited. :)
It's true that most anime coming out nowadays aren't good but there are good titles in between. It's just like movies and tv shows. A lot of bad movies and tv shows air all the time, you just ignore them and watch what interests you. If an anime doesn't interest you, drop it.
Name noted. I will start it in June once my exams are over.
I bought a new Ps3 two weeks ago and play games on that. I finished Asura's Wrath and Metal Gear Reveangance on it. Those games were pretty fun. Then I started "The Walking Dead". Amazing game. The plot in that game is phenomenal.
Just a few minutes of wreck it ralph, my friend showed a little of it to me on his mobile. I'll watch that too come June.
