If yours has already been stamped, all that should remain is it being couriered back. I don't think the agent can help with that

Argh. Yours is taking an exceptionally long time. My guide said it'd take 2-3 weeks if I did it on my own but a travel agent might speed things up. I don't know how that's possible but apparently it works. My dad went to my friend's recommended travel agent today, he told him he'd have my visa ready in a weeks time after I submit the approval papers - which he'll come himself to retrieve. My dad also asked about the tickets. The cheapest one seems to be Sri Lankan airlines, which would stop at Columbo and then go off to KL. Rs38,000 one way ticket and Rs52,000 return. Thought I'd share the info.

God damn it. Btw, you could've saved yourself a shit ton of time by applying through the institution itself. Took me exactly 22 working days to get my approval letter.

Err, about 8 passport sized photos, my entire passport's photocopies, an application form that had to be filled out, the TT receipt for the application fees, medical test form and all its reports. My results of course. That's about it, as I remember it.
I asked the friends who've gone to Malaysia, they used a travel agent and it took them about a week to get theirs. I'll arrange for one just in case :mushy: Tomorrow's the big day for you.

Hopefully I'll get it by next week and give it in for the entry visa stamp then. Looking at about 2 weeks hopefully if there aren't any strikes. -_-

ohh and abt the passport. The problem wasd with my birth certificate,the date of birth differed from the matric marks sheet and so forsth,so i now have to make an ID on the old B day and then get it changed on the ID again,this is gona take abt 15 days MINIMUM! Then 10-15 days for passport. Everything on URGENT which also costs more. Ive allready applied for the first id,due date is tomorrow,then IF i get it tomorrow,i will have to again get it changed on a NEW id which will take 7-8 more days. And then i can apply for passport

They're going to scan it and email it to me, I just have to print it out on my end. There's no 'official paper' so they don't have to send it via post. It's just a matter of days, my friend. Bag tayyar rakho bus. Give me some insight into tickets, flights, routes, bookings and when to do so. I'm completely blank slated on the subject.
