Both Alex and John disagree with yoouuuuu 🤷‍♂️ :ROFLMAO:

Also, the amount of reflective materials and surfaces in Cyberpunk 2077 is more than all Insomniac games combined

Show me where they say Cyberpunk has better RT reflections lmao. The protagonist's exclusion from the BVH makes it a laughable implementation at best.

Also, the amount of reflective materials and surfaces in Cyberpunk 2077 is more than all Insomniac games combined
LMAOOO there are entire skyscrapers that can reflect everything into the distance. The BVH covers more objects. Literally LOL🤣🤣

Duhhh that's for the fooooll suite of Cyberpunk's RT features. No one in their right mind would pick it for RT reflections alone, when it's worse than Spider-man in that area 🤣

It's funny because they mention the same things about Miles Morales' RT reflections that I'm saying here when ranking it at #2 🤣

Imagine trying to prove your point using all the RT features in a game vs just one RT feature that the other game does, and does better than its counterpart in said game 🤣

Pehle koi dhangg ka comparison to lao 🤦‍♂️

Spoooder-Man's range of surfaces reflections are applied to is mediocre compared to Cyberpunk. I'm talking about the roughness cut off. Cyberpunk's world feels far more coherent as a result because RT reflections more consistently and accurately represent different types of materials in the world. Also, Spoooder-Man doesn't have RT reflections on water lol . This isn't even factoring how the reflections themselves are lower resolution and omit crowd density within them. Impressive for a console game I guess, but no match for Cyberpunk on PC. 🤜

But who am I kidding, CerebralTiger ne abhi bhi bas nahi karna

Saara evidence uss video mein hai jo khud share ki hai lmao. But who am I kidding, this is Necrokiller after all 🤣

Spoiler: show

lmao @ omitting crowd density. And these reflections were later updated to render at CBR native res. Do Cyberpunk's RT reflections render at native res?

And lol @ pointing out the water using SSR in Spider-man. You rarely interact with it, if at all, so it was a wise compromise for something that's only visible in the far distance.

Cyberpunk's RT reflections also blend in some aspects of the image in screen space, and those aspects aren't far off in the distance like the water in Spider-man lol. It also leaves crucial elements out of the BVH, such as the freakin' protagonist lmao. If enhancing immersion is the idea behind RT, Cyberpunk 2077 breaks it from the get-go with the protagonist only visible in render-to-texture mirrors. Do you even realize how lame that is? 🤣

Aren't you the same guy who said Watch Dogs Legion's RT reflections were much moooore complex than Spider-man's? Tou phir kya hua? Why isn't it given the #2 spoooot instead? 🤣

In the video shared by Necrokiller, both Alex and John are impressed by how far out into the distance Spider-man's RT reflections are traced, and how many objects are covered in the BVH. The lower cut-off point for rough surfaces has no bearing on this. Enough said 🤜

They're higher res than Spoooderman :ROFLMAO:

"wise compromise"

But then...

It also leaves crucial elements out of the BVH, such as the freakin' protagonist lmao.
Also a "wise compromise" :ROFLMAO:

Also, I didn't know Spoooderman was a first person game 🤷‍♂️

Aren't you the same guy who said Watch Dogs Legion's RT reflections were much moooore complex than Spider-man's? Tou phir kya hua? Why isn't it given the #2 spoooot instead? 🤣
I said its a more demanding game. Weren't you already proven wrong by its 60fps patch? :ROFLMAO:

Couldn't saved yourself the wall of embarassment earlier. Cyberpunk 2077 is ranked #1. Now what? Enough said indeed. 🤜

Source on CP2077's reflections running at a higher res?

CBR makes Spider-man's reflections perceptibly native res anyway 🤷‍♂️

Also a "wise compromise" :ROFLMAO:
Not at all. Your character is the very first thing you'd expect to see on a nearby reflective surface, especially in a first-person game. So much for immersioooon 🤣

Also, I didn't know Spoooderman was a first person game 🤷‍♂️
That's no excuse for not including the protagonist in the BVH lmao. I can mention a much lower budget first-person game from another Polish studio where the protagonist is visible in RT reflections 🤣

I said its a more demanding game. Weren't you already proven wrong by its 60fps patch? :ROFLMAO:
Actually, you were, since you never expected a 60fps mode to begin with 🤣

Cyberpunk 2077 is ranked #1.
Due to it's foooll suite of RT features, as I said earlier. Alex even pointed out GI as Cyberpunk 2077's most prominent RT feature 🤷‍♂️

Oh, and, if Necrokiller agrees with Alex's verdict for the #1 pick here, surely he also agrees that PS2 era Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart, with just RT reflections, leaves Metro Exodus' foooll suite of RT features in the dust. Not even ranked above Broketurnal? YIKES! 🤣

"perceptibly", from CerebralTiger and his book of console gaming excuses LMAO

Not at all. Your character is the very first thing you'd expect to see in a reflection
And that's exactly how the game starts, with you seeing your character in a reflection. Baad mein its all about them superior RT reflections in a cyberpunk world with far more reflective surfaces and materials 🤜

Actually, you were, since you never expected a 60fps mode in the first place 🤣
I never expected it on the same detail levels, unlike you. Ubisoft proved my point :ROFLMAO:

Hai to #1. Its time you realized that Spoooderman isn't even in the same league to be compared with Cyberpunk 2077. Perhaps DF can "investigate" an RT reflections only list and see where your "good for a console game RT reflections" lands on it 🤷‍♂️ :ROFLMAO:

Metro Exodus was already crowned the graphics king in 2019, hence not included. Its the same reason they didn't consider Gears 5 upgrades/Hivebuster DLC when asked about its omission. YIKES!!! :ROFLMAO:

So, you pixel counted? 🤷‍♂️

Ahahah the funny thing about those render-to-texture mirrors is that they need to be enabled, upon which the player is locked in a cutscene 🤣

Heck, GTA V has render-to-texture mirrors too, but they don't lock you into a cutscene 🤷‍♂️

Meanwhile, I can see Spidey in reflections while scaling skyscrapers, when fighting enemies on a marble floor, when running over puddles, and when walking across the window of a store. Oh, but it's a third-person game. It's different ya know. Shameful excuse, but okay. Now, this here is a first-person game from a Polish studio where the protagonist is visible in RT reflections. Any guesses as to what game it is? 🤷‍♂️

I never expected it on the same detail levels, unlike you. Ubisoft proved my point :ROFLMAO:
Do you know the PC equivalent settings it runs at in performance mode? Also, since it was a more demanding game than Spider-man, as per you, why wasn't it at #2 in the DF list? Reflections bhi higher-res houn gi. Likely source: an RTX capable GPU 🤷‍♂️

Metro Exodus enhanced edition was included in the video. They considered it. While they praised its suite of RT features and singled out RTGI as being the best implementation at the time, they also acknowledged its last-gen environments and the lacking fidelity of assets.

Now, repeat after me: PS2 era Ratchet and Broketurnal are graphically superior to Metro Exodus enhanced edition 🤣

The difference is so significant in CP's favor that you don't have to pixel count 🤷‍♂️ :ROFLMAO:

Imagine being this clueless about the differences in implementing perspectives in games. Embarrassing. Though it does explain why The Little Prince wasn't in first person :ROFLMAO:

Do you know the PC equivalent settings it runs at in performance mode?
I know they couldn't keep the same quality settings as Quality mode to deliver 60fps (like I expected) because its too much for the CPU 🤷‍♂️:ROFLMAO:

Apart from one screenshot, the discussion is entirely based on console versions, which do not match the PC versions Extreme setting assets or tessellation features. I agree with its placement, which as you pointed out, isn't really based on its RT implementation to begin with hahaha 🤜:ROFLMAO:

Now repeat after me: Cyberpunk 2077 RT is better than Spoooderman's RT 🤷‍♂️:ROFLMAO: (lets also take a moment to remind ourselves that Ghooooost of Tsushima is entirely absent on that list LMAOO)

Lmao yes, of course, Necrokiller is the expert in implementing perspectives 🤣

Such is his expertise that he completely ignored my example of a first-person game (from a Polish studio, no less lol) with the protagonist being visible in RT reflections 🤣

All versions, including PC, were considered. The placement is based on several factors, including but not limited to RT implementation. If it's enough to elevate a game above one that doesn't use it, it gets ranked higher. Clearly that wasn't the case for Metro Exodus. Not even Guardians of the Galaxy's use of RT features was enough to push it past Returnal, which doesn't take advantage of it (rather only RT hardware to accelerate rasterization). However, it was the case for Lego Builder's Journey 🤷‍♂️

I never said its impossible, but you need a deeper perspective (pun intended) to understand why one can implement it and the other cannot 🤷‍♂️

So, you don't know, then 🤣
It wouldn't change the fact that you expected the PS5/Series cpu to deliver 60fps at the same settings as in quality mode, which was the whole argument :ROFLMAO:

There's no excuse outside of incompetence, and CDPR is clealy a highly incompetent studio based on the state of their game at launch on all platforms, which continues to receive fixes even to this day 🤷‍♂️

I mean, the poor excuse for a character model that they had that didn't even get proper shadows, often went into T-Pose lmaoooo 🤣

It wouldn't change the fact that you expected the PS5/Series cpu to deliver 60fps at the same settings as in quality mode, which was the whole argument :ROFLMAO:
What I expected was the game to run at the same settings as in graphics mode, but with RT disabled and a lower res. Seems to me like that's what happened, more or less 🤷‍♂️

Watch as these consoles run the game at 60fps at the exact same settings with RT reflections disabled lol.

Imagine saying CDPR isn't incompetent, when this is the poor excuse for a character model they have for V during first-person mode:

https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/kbl8oz
Here's hoping this gives Necrokiller some insight into why the protagonist was left out of the BVH 🤣

YIKESS!!!!
lol you missed the part where I said that's what I "expected". Studios like Ubisoft and CDPR are among those who have been incapable of delivering an RT performance mode on current-gen consoles in their cross-gen games, so it's hardly surprising that they disappoint with the regular performance mode 🤷‍♂️

Also, I recall you claiming that they'd have to hit last-gen settings in order to deliver 60fps. Whatever happened to that theory? 🤣

They only talked about the console versions. Good guy Alex and John giving other games a chance 🤷‍♂️:ROFLMAO:
They talked about all versions, and it wasn't a console-only ranking. Just accept that PS2 era Ratchet and Broketurnal are graphically superior. No point in embarrassing yourself any further 🤣

Imagine being so daft that you judge first person model via camera hack in third person. Oh well, atleast CerebralTiger is less stupid than he was few moments ago, now that he knows why the character reflection was omitted from his precious BVH.

All of which to give us the best first person perspective in any video game to date. 🤜

Now argue against this 🤣
