Sony hasn't confirmed it but the news made enough noise and they also haven't denied it. Its a matter of time now before we see another round of meltdowns.
In any case:
Its confirmed by Sony months ago that there will be more exclusives coming on PC later sometime.

You'd need to have a PS Plus subscription to have tried it. Perhaps the friend who's account you share helped with that
