Switched the data service to Zong. Still no LTE-A.
I think Mobilink may be engaging in intraband CA while Zong isn't - which is perhaps why the results also vary significantly between the two in the same location... something I suspected long ago but had no way (and still have no way) of knowing.
Pixel 2: screen broke. Waiting for a replacement. Too an iPhone XS to see if I could get used to it... Returned it the next day. Borrowed a cheap Nokia until my screen gets fixed, or until I can afford a new phone.
And now, I realize that once you get used to a flagship processor, getting back onto a mid range chip is painful.
And also, the iPhone is useful for three things only:
1. Battery time
2. Consistent camera experience (you can get other cameras better than the iPhone, but the iPhone is pretty good and consistent as well), and
3. Fancy animations in the apps.
Otherwise, you can do much more on Android and faster (try gesturing the back key on iOS ND on Android, and you'll know what I'm talking about).
