GTX 1180 release in Augest RUMOR

AoA Guys, Hope you all are fine. With each passing day people are getting desperate to hearing about new toys to play with. Now a new rumor suggest that following Gtx 11xx release schduale.

Nvidia GeForce GTX11 release dates:
GeForce GTX 1180 -------------------> 30th August
GeForce GTX 1170/1180+ ----------> 30th September
GeForce GTX 1160 ------------------> 30th October

Another rumor suggest that Gtx 1170 will outperform Gtx 1080ti

So what do you guys thinks about these rumors? Would you still buy a new GPU or suggest your friends? Is it wise to spend around 80k on Gtx 1080 at the moment here in pakistan? $$ is sky high now a days....

there are rumors that new GPUs might cost less as minning is done for... but another rumor is that NVIDIA is planning to counter that with limited supply
about 1170 outperforming 1080ti they always say that

A gtx 1070 performs the same if not a little better then 980ti .. So not only rumours [emoji28]

I think the prices will be higher to accomidate their previous gen gpu's, if they sell 11xx for less then who would buy 10xx they already have in bulk. Also their might be a possible rebrand due to overstock. It will be the end of this year if anytime soon when we would be able to buy 11xx due to unstable dollar and unstable stock condition at nvidia.

i always upgrade with 70 series gpus bcoz they give the best bang for the buck

gtx 770
than gtx 1070

now i guess 1170 will be next.

There's a new video out by UFD Tech claiming the new series will be called the RTX 20 series (because of nVidia getting copyrights for Turing and RTX). RTX is supposed to replace GTX for the higher end cards (Titan, 2080, 2070), while GTX will still be the brand for the mid and lower range (2060, 2050 etc). The performance is allegedly huge for the lower end cards (2050 being 18% worse than the 1060, but better than 1050ti, for a price range of 150-200USD), but not for the higher end cards (2080 being 8% better than 1080ti). The cards are rumored to feature GDDR6.

Take this with a grain of salt though, since UFD tech is kind of a sensationalist channel.

EDIT: nVidia has a teaser out for the next-gen gpus. They will most probably be called the GTX 20- series. More news on Aug 20.
