Bought Samsung KU7000 4K HDR 10BIT in 70k without warranty for Pc gaming n Ps4 pro & sony to much expensive same model XBR8000D 118k 43inch both models easy available in marketWhats the best budget 4k tv available in Pakistan right now which has 10bit HDR as well. Thinking of buying the PRO myself too. I liked this Sony XBR800D, but couldn't find it anyhwere online here in Pakistan. Does anyone know if its available here? Or any alternative tv around 100K or less? Also is there a decent online store that sells 4K tvs at good market rates?

OG PS4 owners, i'm sorry but y'all are gonna have to play The Last Guardian at stretches of 20 FPS.
Definitely 4K, for now. Since it is the current hottest thing. This kinda sucks for people like me who were hoping that the PS4 Pro would deliver higher FPS on 1080p if you don't have a 4K TV. Or atleast consistent FPS.
Some games are utilizing that though, like Rise of the Tomb Raider, and even the new The Last Guardians. It depends on devs really. And since like I said, 4K is the hottest thing right now, devs are focusing more on that alongside sony.
In my opinion, 4K is being forcefully made the hottest thing right now by the digital/web/social/whatever-you-call-it media. A gamer would buy 1080p / 60 fps over 4k / below 30 fps any day I tell you.
The hype about the 4k is just being created through the media and in reality it is just not required for gaming at this stage. For movies, its fine, but for gaming its a big no no. Even when you consider 4k gaming on pc, you need a very high end pc ( not affordable by atleast 80% of the gamers) to run games smoothly on high settings.
Another low blow for 4k on PS4 is that the games won't support it by default, and people will have to download data for it (for free or not, i don't know).
I have been playing games on pc and console. I can tell that playing The Last of Us Remastered on 1080p / 60 fps has been one of the best gaming experiences I have had in recent years.
I really wish that they focus on 1080p / 60 fps than 4k.
Was at this point just last night. Yup, to this date TW3 is an absolutely breathtaking game. Thankfully, a nifty feature on my TV allows me to play on 60fps.The Witcher 3 is such a good looking game, it's a crying shame that game isn't getting a Pro patch.
Motion interpolation aka Soap opera effect? That adds a significant amount of input lag.
Auto motion is still going to produce unnecessary lag, you should definitely turn it off. The only cases where it would be acceptable in a game is with menu driven RPGs I guess, there's just too much lag for action or shooter types.

Yeah, push to 4K just doesn't have that same effect as the original HD push had. The adoption rate will be FAR below as compared to jump from SD to HD (1080p). Diminishing returns.
I'm still hoping that Sony starts to see this issue and focuses on 1080p improvements more as well, encourage devs to patch their games etc. I'll be super happy if that becomes the norm. PS4 Pro will be a definite buy in that case.

The Last Guardian does not support super sampling if you have a 1080p TV and The Last of Us's last update also removed super sampling for 1080p owners. 4K owners still get higher resolution in both, but 1080p owners both get strictly 1080p visuals without any enhancements.
The kicker about The Last of Us is that they actually went ahead and fixed frame rate in the 60FPS mode for 4K TV owners, so you'd still be getting the resolution of 1800p AND a locked 60 FPS.

The jump to HD had a more dramatic impact due to the shift to a wide aspect ratio (16:9) compared to 4:3. Otherwise, it was a simple resolution bump just like 4K is. Higher resolution is always better, provided that your content matches that resolution. The downside so far has been that when it comes to TVs, there is no resolution to fill the gap between Full HD and 4K, and Pro is unable to run games natively at 4K. I'd prefer a 1080p or 1440p native game than a 1900p on a 4K screen.
HDR + OLED displays sound far more tempting. Sadly HDR is limited to 4K TVs for now afaik. Hopefully we'll see new consumer monitors adopt this tech soon.

Since, it took me quite a long time to save up for ps4 and a new 1080p tv so I think I am gonna stay away from 4k gaming on consoles for quite sometime.
And I second what [MENTION=26]Chandoo[/MENTION] said, Although I dont own a ps4 pro but lately I have been reading about how TLoU has been misbehaving for 1080p owners playing on ps4. To me PS4 Pro has been quite a disappointment, it is something that exists in this world for all the wrong reasons.

It's still too early to tell. Maybe by next year, we'll see more patches in the 1080p area.
Also, The Last Guardian does give consistent FPS when playing on 1080p via Pro, which is great. The game dips a lot on 4K mode and on PS4 Slim.
PS4 Pro is definitely not a viable upgrade for people who already own a PS4, not at the moment anyway. If someone really is itching for 4K, and has the wallet to afford it, then a full on 4K gaming PC is the best way to go imo.
PS4 Pro can, however, be good for people like me who don't own a PS4 yet, and don't have 4K displays. They just need to patch games for 1080p properly, which of course is partly Sony's fault (for pushing to 4K almost exclusively instead of making sure 1080p is getting some treatment as well), and partly devs fault for being lazy and not patching 1080p properly.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
