Fiber link telling to refund after 2 months, advice needed on legal action as well as alternatives

As the title says, after two months delays, fiber link said that i will get a refund , but that is beyond unacceptable .

I have suffered loss in my field of work and made some arrangements and commitments on behalf of their word and time frame of 30 days.

Now i need to take legal action against them, i need to know how effective are consuner court complints? Is an FIR applicable here?

Also id like to know alternatives

Zong and such are too expensive for the data limit they offer

So any other alternatives? My area is k. A. E. C. H. S karachi, all i care about is fast down and up speed.

May i ask your age ?

My advice is to not get refund and wait for fiberlink. You have to appreciate that they are providing the fastest and cheapest internet services. No other company comes close to the prices they are offering.

Ultimately you would grt your connection.

I think if this matter becomes a legal issue it would be in your favour. I've lost count of how many people have told me about fiberlink's pathetic service and installation time, a close friend of mine waited for 3 months and got a refund himself then

Also for the price fiberlink is offering is nothing, go for stormfiber, best internet I've used till date

I am 21

Not really, they said they arent available in the area 2monthe + after taking the payment.

The price at which fiberlink is offering 100 mbps has no comparison to stormfiber.

His only concern is dl an up speeds

Brother, the price may have difference but so does the service, frequent disconnections, very bad techincal support team, lying and stealing from paying customers. Fiberlink and stormfiber have no comparison because stormfiber is better.

Well pings matter too but yeah im not seeing fiberlink do anything. They are saying they made a mistake while surveying the area , the issue is it took them effin 2 months to realize rhat?

Actually im from lahore and a week ago i was told that my area i.e model town is not permitting them. But finally today after waiting for more than 3 months they came to my place and said i would b connected before sunday. They are laying fiber on my lane . So i believe they aren't lying this time.

talked to storm fiber

was talking to the representative and i explained him the location , he told me to email the higher ups

got a call with in 5 minutes of emailing and also attaching google maps distance from their nearest coverage area , which is roughly 800m

the head of department called me and clearly stated its not a promise but Falcon complex and my area were under plan and they were already digging the line for fiber . but he did say he will update me on the portal i registered to on their site with in 2 months .


this is called professionalism , not like fiber link MKL that take cash and then after months of khuari say k sorry nai ho sakta .

Fiberlink calls me every week saying they are available asks for payment this girl maya on the phone has no idea what shes saying. After a long chat on the phone few days ago she finally spill the beans by saying she got my area wrong thought it was in bahadurabad. Unprofessional staff
