[HELP!] Computer Science Admission [Evening or Weekend]

I am not new here, and i am a victim of "Khandan ka Zour"
Well that sums all up, i have done B.Com and ACCA 8 papers, but now i am like screw it man, i am not this kinda person, i am way to techy, and collegues ko dekh ker kholen uthti hai, so noobs

Conclusion ye hai, i would like to do masters in Computer Science ager masters nahi hoga to me Bachelors phir se kerlonga, as i am already employed will be doing it on weekends, i know most of the stuff, learning java and php on my own. But i need a proof which will be my degree from that institute or else i would be called as a drop-out or B.Com pass shit head.

Hai koi guidance kernay wala,

I am from Karachi

Thanks in advance

@StrikerX @Shary Bhallu TC @shujaswati
Most masters programs have weekend classes; especially to accommodate those who work during the week.

To answer OP's question, you don't need a bachelors in CS to do masters in CS. You just need to be bachelors in general. Source: IBA admission eligibility FAQ: https://iba.edu.pk/faq_general.php

Q.
What are the minimum academic requirements (Eligibility) for IBA admissions?
>Following are the minimum requirements for IBA admissions:

  • > Undergraduate Programs
    For BBA Program
    >
    - Intermediate (minimum 65% marks), or
    - ‘A’ Levels (minimum of two ‘B’s and one ‘C’)
    - Grades of General and AS level courses will not be accepted
    For BS Program
    - 60% marks in Intermediate (Pre-Engineering), OR
    - 60% marks in Intermediate General Group with Mathematics, OR
    - 1B and 2Cs in A-Level (with Mathematics)

    - Grades of General and AS level courses will not be accepted

  • > Graduate Programs - (MBA, MBA-Evening, MS)
    - Must have a bachelor's degree (with a minimum of 60%) from recognized
university in any area of study
    - Minimum 2.5 out of 4.0 GPA
    - 16 years of education is required
    - 2 years experience for MBA mandatory
    - The IBA also accepts holders of professional degrees (B.E., M.B.B.S., etc)
    - The work experience is not required for admission to MS Economics program

They do require 16 years of education though. Which may be a problem considering that B.Com is a 2 year degree, but you're also partway through ACCA so that might not be an issue. Not sure about other universities. Make sure you're eligible for that. As long as you hit that mark, you're good to go. I wish you the best of luck.

You should go for MIS as you would be able to integrate it with your ACCA (as many of the financial/management computerized solution such as SAP, oracle, Salesforce and etc are in the end used by financial/management guys so being in command of both sides of spectrum would be advantageous for you) (MIS from IBA is an awesome option for weekend program) but the problem in your case in that ACCA is a certification where as B.com is a 2 year bachelor program, and "most" universities require a 4 year bachelor (i know for one iqra doesn't BUT no "wants" to go there, they go there because "have" to in case its the only option). So i would ask you to search around for more options that you can utilize for a MIS route and in case you want to opt for IBA or do something about 2 year bachelor you can go for
Oxford Brookes BSc (Hons) Degree in Applied Accounting (which cashes your ACCA and you have to write a Research project)
(more detail)
(Oxford Brookes BSc | ACCA Global)
(BSc (Hons) Applied Accounting - Undergraduate study - Oxford Brookes University Business School)

I dunno if it's such a great idea to go for MS in CS without doing BS first. ALot of the courses in MS will be advanced version of courses that get offered in BS and you'll have missed alot of Basic concepts and technical stuff you'll need to know for them. Might be hard.

I am in UBIT. I'd say it's average or a little below average in terms of good teachers. In terms of students, there are plenty of good ones.., the thing is you'll have to study by yourself, teachers will teach shit and you won't understand anything except for a few. AFAIK Ubit has value in the market due to its students...

I had studied B.Com for 2 years before giving it up for re-starting with BS(CS). Do what you like, even if it means that starting all over again.

Institutes like MAJU also offers 3 years MCS for those who have studied BBA (4 years)

Sindh Madressatul Islam University! Ya Ya Quaid-e-Azam's school. U might get admission in MS(CS) on b.com basis as the uni is new. I am from its 1st batch currently in 8th semester.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
