Holy sh**, you can download demos without using PS3? Is that possible? Like can I download demos using my laptop and then transfer them to my PS3?

i was trying to update LBP, the update data is of 67MB
the date is only in one file that means u need to download update without any break
and no background download as well,
i got an error on 1% and it looks like it should take some 8+ hours
i want to know how should i do it if i can't resume it and frequent errors btw download

My PS2 has been eating the dust for more than a year , I think . And I wanna get it back up and running . Missed out on some MAJOR *cough*3sgm*cough* titles .
The problem is that I think it's lenses is weak . The game loads up but it's unplayable as the PS2 hangs up or the game keeps skipping .
The next thing is the controller . I have like 5 controllers lying around and every controller has one problem ! The right analogue stick is broken . I need a serious fix for this . I can't keep buying new controllers because of this . Tell me where can I get the original one .
The one with PS3 is awesome . I use it like hell and not a single problem . Even in games like COD4 where most probably it should break .

@Muaaz use Lens cleaner ! Buy a Kit available in Pace lahore . It includes the Disc , a fluid and a towel for it !! Original Controllers cost i think above 1.5K !!

Well there is a kinda golden wire close to the lens with a square sorta thing attached on top !! Move it away from lens then try it !!

Just came across this wonderful heaven for gamers here in Pakistan.
I am going to buy PS3 in a couple of days time. Would have bought it today had I not seen this site. Just want to clear some queries.
1) I am going for the 40 Gig Pal version of PS3 currently available in the market. (I'm from Lahore) The reason why I've opted for it is that I have a SDTV at home and I want to play GTA4 on it. I came to know from here that you can play gta4 on an SDTV only if you have the game and console of the same version (NTSC or PAL). Correct me if I am wrong. My TV does have NTSC 4.48 though but I am not sure if I can find an NTSC GTA4 from here.
2) Secondly, would I be able to run normally available DVDs (Costing 150 PKR for Master Prints) on my PS3? A friend of mine has the 80 Gig version. Not sure if it is Pal or NTSC but he claims to have run even pirated PS2 titles on it succesfully.
3) I was going through the net and found out that the 60 Gig version had extra USB slots and also had SCAD support. What is SCAD support and is it possible to find a copy of this 60 Gig version?

150rs...master print??..thats new
60gb versions have been discontinued long back in 07..it was the best one.The only main differences in 40/60 version is that you dont have 2 extra usb's,no flash card readers and no backwards compatibility for ps2 games(original games).SACD is 'super audio cd' which is basically an advanced audio cd format...but with high quality, better surround sound etc.
@darktaktiX , I have the same problem, I'll buy PS3 and some games like GTA 4 (all PAL version), my TV is also SDTV. If PS2 pirated games can run on PS3 then I'll first sell my PS2 then buy PS3. As far as I know from PG's point of view that PS3 hasn't been hacked yet so piracy is not possible right now. There is also a problem with GTA 4 that GTA 4 requires an HDMI connector to play on TV but I'm not sure about that. And I've also come to know that SDTV doesn't has an HDMI input support. HDMI input is only with HDTV.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
