There are only 4 screws to be done over the gpu chip. I believe that would be a standard size, ref or non ref. But again not confirmed. What is your exact model for your r290x? Maybe someone has already done it.

coincidently i was going through the same review, but for this i will need the bracket as well as a cooler like H20 or something, wish they had a bundled thing, will be looking into this
even with the custom cooler in the asus one you have? The sapphire tri-x for eg runs greats with its custom cooler.
some classy stuff going on! Love to see thatImp to have the right silicon cord size. So the tube and silicon both from EK, inner diameter for the tube is 10mm while the silicon cord is 9.4mm
I used a bit of hand soap on the silicon so it inserts easily. Clean the tube and silicon before (wash). Pencil the area you want to heat, that would be the bend area. Dont heat the tube too fast using the heat gun, keep it around 2-3 inches from the heat gun. Keep rolling the tube to evenly apply the heat.
When the tube starts collapsing on its own weight then its about ready to be bent. Hold it in place for around 30sec for it to cool down and hold its shape.
IMP to wear some cotton type gloves as the tube gets hot. Keep the silicon in the tube if you will continue to make more bends. Hope this helps

So finally (hopefully) got all the parts I need. Main thing I needed was a quad block and the adaptor for the reservoir.
So here is how one side of the reservoir is, where you can attach a pump directly to it (through various adaptors, 3 included in the box)
If you want to use the reserviour on its own, without a pump, you need to get this:
A G1/4 adapter. This should be included in the box to begin with, as they advertise that it can be used as a reservoir only but dont say that you need an extra part. Oh well, moving on..

As have a second card now, I cut the bracket so it would fit. Should have been like this from the start.
finalizing the tubing now too. Two temp inline sensors attached to the ends. (Hard to get the tubes in even after chamfering the edges)

Got these also to prevent gpu sag (as the water block is heavier than the tri-x cooler). Doesnt fit the right way as the block is too wide. Turned it the other way, does the job.
Bracket all ready now.

Tubing all finalized too.
Bit of an oversight, didnt see where the other side on the res would end up. Had to cut the frame a bit.
Leak testing. Had a minor leak on a plug on the gpu block. So glad wasnt a fitting.

thanks. im using distilled water. Will add mayhems blue dye, along with mayhems biocide to prevent algae growth.
thanks. I do have a drain valve, forgot to take a snap. Due to the different design of the reservoir, no pressure should be built up
