That depends on university..I guess any CGPA over 2.8 will satisfy a good number of universities, but the unis you have mentioned RWTH, TUM, Stuttgart all are top unis and will require a cpga of over 3.2 atleast

I did the same, applied on the basis of my provisional result, cpga of 7 semesters and indivisual gpas ..

and apply for scholarships from Pakistan..But I dont understand why you need a scholarship// I mean its great that you want scholarship, but you dont need one in germany since studying costs next to nothing ..including accomdation

Thanks for your support brother, I know Germany is very good when it comes to expenses, but I need some sort of peace of mind that I will be able to survive there for two years, the max I can collect here will be 1.2 or 1.5 million thats why I was curious... And yes another question, how the visa extension process works? From my research I have come to know that the embassy gives a temporary visa of 3 months at start and then when you get there, after analysing you performance they extend the visa. but how long? for the remaining time or for a short time again?

Dear all plz advise me as well Im interested in petroleum engineering from GERMANY.

Please guide my questions if you can:

1. German univ offering BEng degree of 3 years. Is it recognized as a bachelor in middle east, pakistan or no?
2. how much expenses i need to show for 3-4 year?
3. is it possible to get in masters progra after BEng without any work experince or not?
4. is it preferable to opt for English language program as opposed to german language courses?
5. what is the range and type of student jobs available. is it preferable to speak german for these jobs? Can we work as freelancer from Germany?

My friend has 63% in inter. He wants to apply in a USA university for BS in Computer Science. If he has a good SAT and TOEFL score then what are his chances? He fears that his inter % has destroyed his chances. How much he must score in SAT and TOEFL to have a good chance?

He will get admission in a "safe school" probably and maybe in some "match school" if he scores high on sat like 2000+, toefl have "NO" impact on admissions, however the most important thing after Sat and matric and fsc transcripts is the college essay he will be writing for the application process. Write an honest, true to yourself and extremely passionate essay, show them
Your skills and ambitions, don't go over the top but you can act like a person with "higher morals" who is conscious about social problems and is creative... That'll surely help. Btw tell him to apply in Turkey and LUMS (and finally nust) if he couldn't get admission abroad

Tell him to not lose hope,he should still apply over here (if that's what he had planned and believe it won't be fulfilled) and as for USA university. You need to know that if you're (I'll just refer to you instead of your friend :p ) going to pay for tuition fees then its going to be extremely expensive .And if yes they do provide scholarship but like any country ,they would first favour students from their own country . But that doesn't mean you have little to none chances to get scholarship.if you study hard for SAT and get above 2100+ ,you will eventually be offered a scholarship ,if not all atleast 25% which does make a significant difference . My friend ,who got 2390 in SAT2,got an offer from Florida Institute of technology with $20k scholarship offer but he still had to pay $20k scholarship because the tuition fees without scholarship was $40k . Anyways that's the fees thing. If he does really well in SAT,then he wouldn't need to worry about his inter score to that extend.Ofcourse it does have a weightage but SAT has the most weightage along with the personal statement .As for TOEFL,it won't increase your chances for admission,it is there to prove that you are fluent in English and will be able to comprehend what is being taught in the class.

IDK how you can get good score in SAT because I have friends (talking about SAT1 here) who have studied for 4 months and they ended up with 1700 score. These are the friends who received like 2-3As in As levels and yet they ended up with such score. And then I have friends who only studied for a week and got 1800 so yea SAT1 is very unpredictable. As for TOEFL,I don't think you should be worried about how GOOD youre score is . You should more worried about passing it.I don't know the required score for TOEFL but for IELTS ,it's usually from 6.0-6.5 out of 9 .

Lol i am already studying in my dream university. That guy is my school friend who is preparing for SAT but he has fears of being rejected. And also money is not the problem for him. He is just adamant in going to USA for bachelors' education. Someone told him that if student visa to USA is rejected once then it is almost impossible to be accepted at second try. So he is trying his best for scoring in SAT and TOEFL.

I am planning on applying to study in germany. I want to know some details, those who have studied there/are studying there or those who have close relative studying there, please reply. I dont want information from the internet, already have it.
I am currently doing AS level. I want to do CS or engineering, not decided yet. I will learn german in the summer break.
First, at what time should I apply?
Which city is best?
What is the living(food, clothing, cellphone, internet etc) cost there?
How much is rent?
Can we do jobs?
And any other detail will be appreciated.

How are you going to manage to do all the 6 levels in one summer break ?

There are 6 levels? Didn't know that. Then I'll will take more time. I still have an year remaining, that's not the issue right now
The Goethe Institute here in karachi will take 10 months for you to complete the whole course. If you can manage your A2 well enough (which I doubt it because it is a total pain in the ass) then I would "not suggest still" to do the language course parallel but try to cover as much as you can in summer break if you are serious about it .

Actually you don't need to do all. Try to complete just up to B1 or B2 and that will be enough.
Alright. And do we need to give SAT or any other exam?

You do not need to do SAT but I would suggest that if you can try then do study for SAT in summer break and give it so that incase you aren't able to get into a uni abroad(Germany if you are quite specific),you can apply for one in Pakistan for the time being . But I personally didn't give SAT because I didn't have time for it . Already have 5 subs in Alevels and i'm finishing English Literature in just one year so yea.But I would advice that IF you can manage it then give it a shot

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
