Spend money to get extra processing power and bump up the ram and ssd, human eye can't even differentiate between 3mp and 5mp , it's useless to spend extra 100-150$ for a 1080p display.
btw I have i7 touchsmart with 4700mq,12gigs,1tb+ssd+dedicated gpu+touch
I am talking about this model, it costs 58k and in this range this is the best. Rest it lacks a dedicated GPU.
rest how much did you got your laptop for? and refurbished kharaab tu nahi hota? lastly which laptop do you prefer then?

my advice would be to never get a refurbished laptop , go for new even if you have to pay 15-20k extra

need help in choosing a good new laptop. my budget range is Rs. 65000/- for intel i5 haswell processor. now i am confuse here since i would prefer to have backlight keyboard, longer battery life n touchscreen if possible. the others spec can be upgrade in future if needed.
i will be using as med gaming laptop. meaning gaming now n then, with my regular works.
as i am considering not to buy a desktop at a moment, i will hook it up with my monitor, tv, stream it, n basically do everything with it.
i have seen lenovo which have some good spec like g5070 (which also have i7 in my range) but few reviews i read wasnt good enough. As if you can suggest laptop with review sites it will helps me. as the laptop will be for next 3 years min. and prefer colour ones too.

So guys my old card is giving up i am up for a gpu upgrade i have got Core 2 quad Q8200 @ 2.33 GHZ(No OC) with Intel DG-41 RQ and 2x2gb 800mhz ram.I am currently eyeing MSI GTX 970 4 GB or a GTX 960 4gb(maybe even a 8 GB version of both cards if my psu allows it).I have Antec Earth watts 500 watt psu.
