CHINIOT: Brilliant young girl Sitara Akbar, who is only 11 years old and a resident of Chiniot, set a world record by passing O-level English, Mathmatics and Science, Geo News reported on Sunday.

This is not the first time that the eleven-year-old girl from Chanab area of Chiniot had dazzled the world with her brilliance. She had passed O-level Chemistry in nine years of age, hitting a record in Pakistan. Sitara then went ahead and succeeded in setting her first world record after passing O-level Biology at the age of 10.

Sitara Akbar recently pushed the bar up for the world by hitting a new record by passing English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in O-level.

She obtained 7 out of 9 bands in International English Language Test System (IELTS) which is a requirement to get admission for post-graduate education in many colleges abroad.

Sitara's father lamented that she had once been expelled from an elementary school on grounds that she asked many questions in the class.

All I can say is I feel ashamed of my self. I mean a 11 year old girl has done what I think I won't be able to do while I'm 16.

This is just brilliant I have to say, MashaAllah this girl has achieved A LOT at this age.

*There still is a bright future for Pakistan*

Champions are not supernatural, they just fight for one more second when everyone else quits.

If one human can achieve something, so can you.

There is so much potential in Pakistan.

Even in rural areas if children are educated properly, gems like these would be discovered.

i myself didn't go for the O levels but I insisted my parents that the younger ones must go to O level system and I must say that after reading their books and courses I can see how great level they are going to achieve. the girl is just exceptional.

(n) Did she got highest marks/grade in CIE? Did she invent something? Does she have skills to do work or just a "Kitabi keera"?
If no then not much inspiring as you people have made it :) "woh kehte haina andhon main aik kaanra raja(jistarah Pakistan ka Dr. AQ Khan hai bas usko peer sahab bana dia hai khud kuch karte nahin, woh ham andhon main aik kaanra raja hai ab pata nahin kitni sadion baad koi Pakistan k liye aisa aadmi paida ho) :D"

I feel sorry for the girl, an 11 year old should not be worrying about O'Levels and such. Our screwed up social system puts too much pressure on kids. I applaud her intelligence but O'Levels in pretty easy, i myself got 11 As and 1 B when i gave the exams at 16 with 3 distinctions. To be fair, i had little social life and was miserable. I don't even care about grades after that, the hardest reality shock was when i was done with the last exam and knew i was going to be getting straight As when i walked out everyone else was celebrating and laughing and i knew most of these kids were going to get shoddy grades or fail but ironically they were happier than me.

To be fair that was a lifechanging moment for me, i stopped focusing on academics after that and started going out and making loads of friends. I got straight Cs in my Alevels and a distinction in English. No one cares anymore, currently no one cares about my O or A Level results, so what was the point of it all.

I wonder, though, why they remembered midway between the last possible result and the next possible result :/

Also, it doesn't mention aced the exams, or even got A's or even B's. Just passed. Which is D :/ (Not ridiculing her distinction of sitting for O'levels at age 11, just saying) (There were kids aged 13 in England who gave their A Levels in Chem Phys Math and aced them with world distinctions. Again, just sayin')

My question is why would someone make her do it. An 11 year couldn't possibly have made this decision on her own. We make kids grow up too fast in this country. how is this different from child labour.

@Roark , the thing is about achieving such a thing at such a small age. No one does their O levels before 14 and A levels before at-least 16. Now this girl has done a remarkable thing in a country like Pakistan ,where the education rate is lower. So its something to be proud of I guess ? I mean after all shes just a kid.

Why someone would make her do it? Maybe it was her own choice, maybe she got inspired by Ali Moeen Nawazish or what so ever. I doubt she was forced to it. I mean the article does say that she got expelled from school for asking many questions so yeah.

I think I will be able to do my MBBS about that same period based on my current calculations :Rulz:

nevertheless on topic, I have to agree with Roark here, although this is a amazing achievement for her and this country, it's not right either. This isn't the age of worrying about CIE's, heck we dream of being this young again so that we don't have to take things seriously but she's spending it all on studies.
But I guess if that's the path she has taken(or her parents have taken for her) then I really hope it proves useful for her and the country, she should be provided with financial assistance to carry out future studies and become a Einstein.

gotta accept that kids are really going up fast these days, grade 6 students known all maa-behn abuses now a days.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
