Hi guys, I have a faulty power supply on mty PS3 and I havent been able to find a replacement as yet.

The PSU i'm looking for is EADP-300AB and its the black one generally seen in 40GB models.

Isn't your PS3 covered under warranty?

Maverick, no it's not under warranty. I already spoke to Sony and they don't repair ps3's here in Islamabad. The only thing they will do is get you a refurbished model from Dubai if yours is under warranty.

Cobran, I'm in islamabad but I sent my ps3 to Karachi to get it fixed but unfortunately they only have the silver power supply available in electronics market.

I'll wait for a couple of days here then probably buy one off eBay I guess. I did find this really good wholesaler in china but they will only sell a minimum of 10 units. So I guess eBay it'll be eventually

PS# fixed by replacing the PSU bought from xboyhot.

Got my power supply from xboyhot. Sent my original to him by courier, he checked it and told me that it could not be fixed. He said he had a 40Gb PSU and bought it off him.

Will definitely recommend this guy even though I have not even met him. The whole deal was done over the phone. Will also definitely look forward to doing more business with him.
