OK that was not a problem with the server, that was due to your mistake :p the maximum allowed size is 100x100 pixels and your av/pic was of 90x120 pixel so that's why it got messed up as server try to force resize your uploaded image within 100x100 pixels limit!

i can't with gif images :(
can't you like very slightly increase the PG limit :(
or if anyone here knows gif resizing, do it for me cause i have no idea how to do it.
