i was checking out XFX GeForce 7300gs at galaxy and wanted to know if it is good card or just ok?

please guide me in this matter as much as you can.:frown:

yaar no one has got 6600 or 6800

though 7300 is nice, but it has only 4 pixel shaders that is why i am hesitating to buy it, unlike 6600 or 6800.

6800 is available at Panorama computers in Hafeez Centre( if u are in lahore)

buy 7600 or 6600 but dont buy 7300

bro many people have told you,if not then listen ,at Galaxy.pk AGP 6600GT 128mb (BOXED) is listed @3300 rs. Do buy that what are you waiting for :|

dont know the price of 6800 gs, just went today to buy ram its cheap now a days, so saw 6600 there...

but dont buy 7300 gs because my friend has 7300 gt which is better than "gs" but it is not supported by latest games, my friend cant play Medal of honor Airborne, although he has a core 2 duo but the game doesnt support the GPU

can you do me a favor? either call or go there personally and confrm the prices of 6600gt and 6800gt, please.
also, if it is inno, then............................do ask the price. let me know as soon sa you can do it.

why is your friend'sa 7300 gt is not supported by medal of honor? i thought all new games stated they require 6600 or up card :S

yaar that is inno, with 128 MB.
i want 256 MB.

6600 is mid range card and is better then 7300 and may be but not sure may good enough then 8500...

where as 7300 do play games its good for NFS Carbon, or NFS MW or HITMAN Blood Money... but he cant play Medal of Honor Airborn ( it gives error of GPU not sure wat it says)


he wasnt able to play BIOSHOCH too, now i dont know wats the reason behind that but he couldnt start the game.


i will go after 2 days or 3 for NFS Pro street then ill update you more

Thanks man, appreciate that. thank God you told me that it can't even play bioshock, otherwise i had considered buying 7300 gs at last resort. also what is the minimum requirements for playing nfs pro-street?

no no!!! i am not saying that it cant play BIOSHOCK i am just telling u that my friend cant play it at the moment because the system crashes on desktop and there is no error.. it can be any thing

but MOHA Airborn clearly degrades the card ..

yeah yeah u can run, i had run games on celeron 1.8 with fx 5200 when the system requirements would be 2.4 ghz hahahahaha..

i did that same. i played quake 4 on my 1.8 celeron rig. then for that, i changed my processor to 2.53 celeron. card was same both times, fx 5200. the latter rig is still with me.

anyway, can u make it earlier to hafeez center? i am close to make a deal of 7600 gs from inno, by noyan. i am waiting 'cause of inno and also how to send him cash and get card.

and about inno i personally dont like them, my friend bought 8600 GT I-Chill 4 months ago from Galaxy, it started giving abnormal textures in games, he claimed the card in waranty, the other card had the same behaviour ( i am sure they didnt replaced the card and gave the old one back) so we took the system there and took a box pack card it didnt run either hahaha, so then we opened another one, that one worked and still working...

so inno for me not reliable

same here. my cousin has a shop (3 actually) in uni plaza at karachi and i saw it myself that a guy had bought a system and he came back after 3 months with a burnt card. you could see the black spot on it, it was huge! even though he had bought cooler master 500W PSU, at that time. that is why i am" hich-kichaying" to buy, knowing that it has these problems.
