ok guys got some time on my hands recently...so it was back to the hobby...haha...

This was a long due mod of mine....so finally decided to get off my ass and do it...

i decided to Paint the Interior of the casing BLACK....(just much more sexier :D)

I used WIN (Thailand) brand Flat black paint....4 cans(yes i know it much...but with my technique u need that much...for the best effect and uniformity)

The horror of doing the cable management again was holding me back from doing this mod...but i said heck..lets get on with it...and im glad i did

Here is the casing with all the hardware tipped out....all panels and accessories removed....basically ready for some sanding....

And here it is all sanded up, cleaned and ready for the Paintjob....

The first coat applied....the idea is to get 4 to 5 layers of really thin coats for the best effect....notice the texture? the first coat should be grainy...

After like 4 hours....of letting it dry and soak up the sun and applying more and more coats (luckily it was a pretty windy day so that didnt take much time)...i was done :D...the end result...

And here's the texture of the paint....

Here's the right side and the rear side of the case....

With the led fans installed in the case....

i added a second fan at the front in the 5.25 inch bays....now the airflow is just AWESOME :p..

And now for the pain in the ass...cable management !!! the fugly sight from the back ....haha

And how it actually looks from the front(side)...really much better than the last time....

cathodes Powered off

Powered ON...

A cloze up of the 5.25in bays....the purple goes really well with the black....init?

Also removed (rather burned off with lighter) the mesh on the air filters....i figured i clean my pc every 2 weeks anyhow...so dust is not a problem...might as well have much better airflow and much less acoustics :D...turned out pretty good if i say so myself :p trust me...much much much better airflow now...

Here is the front view of the case now....

Also did another mod forgot to mention.....had previously rounded the ide cable with transparent sleeving....but that did not go with the whole case theme so i made a black sleeving from some flexible pipe...painted it myself.....here it is...lemme know what u think...

Yes yes i know thats a shitload of pics....but i wanted to show em so atleast i resized em.....

OH and i also added rubber washers on every screw of all the fans...that also really helped in bringing the noise and vibrations to a minimum....

Now ON with the Comments and criticism pls..... ;)

Really nice paint job.

Your earlier thread about cable management made me buy CM690. Now you are forcing me to do the paint job as well :wink2:

dude susman....i am Pming u a number of the guy who sells these....just give my reference...tell him i gave u the number... :)

and no good fan controllers are available here....not zalman quality...by that i mean no digital ones here...i got mine from abroad....

besides all fan cotrollers require 3 pin connectors on fans....the ones that also connect to mobo....

if u are looking to decrease the voltage of fans manually via molex...lemme know i'll guide u...it requires some modding...labour...hard work...
